Like us,Jesus was rejected at Nazareth

Picture
We know what it is like to be rejected in families, to be misunderstood and to be separated. We are willing to even stand alone as long as it takes. We stand in solidarity with people who feel like outsiders in church because of impediments keeping them from sacraments for themselves and or their children. We stand in solidarity with those who can not be themselves, and with those who want equality for their partners, and with those who want to marry the person they love.

What is in a name

Picture
St Mary Magdalene is our patron for our community. Did we choose her or was it the other way around?    St. Mary Magdalene's  background has been questioned and her character has been under scrutiny and misunderstood to the tradition that Mary Magdalene was even rejected by the male apostles. St Mary Magdalene walked the talk yet was despised and rejected. For us, the name says if you feel despised and rejected, you have a home here. This community wants to be part of your life where together we can love fear away.
