Fr. Mark Sutton… Pastor...  Biography

Fr. Mark is an Ordained Priest since May 25, 1968.  Presently the pastor of the St. Mary Magdalene Community since 2012.  Married to Rachel Sutton 25 years with three children and four grandchildren.  He has four years study of Theology   (equivalent  masters degree);             Two years –Clinical Pastoral Education ( 4 credits); Served as chaplain at Presbyterian Hospital, Sandia Hospice, and Good Samaritan Nursing home;two years with RCIA Trained in bereavement ministry, Befrienders (Companion) ministry, Consolation ministry and Oblate School of Spiritual direction; Ten years in the ministry of the Word & six years as trainer in the ministry of the word. Three years in ACTS and served as director and spiritual director.  Fr. Mark has permanent facilities as priest given by  Bishop Peter Hickman previous Bishop the Ecumenical Catholic Communion,  Orange Calif.  He has been invited to the Synod 2012 as a member of the House of Presbyters.   He is an active member of PFLAG Abq. Fr. Mark is also a Volunteer Chaplain of the CYFD  of  Albuquerque. Volunteer at the Abq Center for Peace & Justice

Rachel U Sutton… biography

Rachel Sutton is married to Mark for 25 years. She has three children, four grandchildren           and two great grand babies Benjamin Michael and LyaGrace.Rachel was actively involved with Holy Rosary Parish. She served RCIA youth, Consolation ministry, Parish Council, Share, assisted with the Lector training. Rachel was on the first women ACTS retreat for                 New Mexico Nov 2005. She has been an ACTS Director, Spiritual Director and retreat 
team member. She served on the  first Holy Rosary CORE as Co-facilitator for two years and Facilitator for one year and has been  guided in spiritual direction for over 15 years. Rachel is                                                                  now a member of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion. She is a representative for the House                        of laity for the 2012 Synod. She is an active member of PFLAG Abq.
